Hey I get it! First thing you should know is every person before you has felt the same way! Even I get awkward in front of a camera when I’m not ready for it! You have every right to speak up and say “THAT WASN’T MY BEST! LET ME TRY AGAIN”. This is meant to fun and I will not pressure you to do anything you’re not comfortable with. Before I even pick up my camera, I make sure I do the legwork to really get to know our clients before I photograph them. I always request a one-on-one client consultation before your engagement shoot, adventure elopement, or intimate/small wedding. I will be there to help you select the perfect outfits for your shoot. I provide my phone number so you can call or text me if you’re unsure about what to wear. It’s my goal to make sure you show up to your session without a care in the world, because the location and your outfits are put together in advance of a single photo being taken. During the shoot, elopement, or wedding itself, I always make sure to provide you with plenty of direction in front of the camera. Some cou- ples know exactly how they want to act & pose in front of my camera, while others are com- pletely new to it. I cater my direction to how comfortable you’re feeling, and I don’t leave you to figure it all out by yourself. During couples shoots and adventure sessions, I’ll get you playing and having fun in a way that is both entertaining for you and also looks great on camera.

. I love to go hiking as often as I can with my puppy! We are fortunate enough to be surrounded by forests with an abundance of trails, parks and mountains. I have a health condition that limits me on strenuous physical activity, so I must walk at a slower pace and take breaks often. But that doesn’t stop me from being at your epic elopement! I am willing to do hikes that are considered “easy” to “moderate” level. Once you secure your date, I will discuss your plans in depth and you will receive a customized timeline to ensure I deliver a service completely tailored to your needs.

So the difference can be very apparent depending on the type of camera that is used and how old it is. The older and dirtier the film camera is, the more grain and dust shows up in the image and that is how you get the famous “film look”.But it isn’t as simple as just throwing a filter on your Instagram photos. Here, we get technical about the features of the cameras and the quality they produce. Unless you have a high end “professional” digital camera(we do), it will not compare to the quality that original film cameras supply. These special digital cameras have what are called full frame sensors. Essentially, you get a wider range of color, light and quality in these photographs. It wasn’t until digital came around, that cropped sensors came into existence. Luckily for you, either session you book with me will have professional grade images.- **I do not bring studio lighting with me to any weddings. This includes soft boxes. There will be flash photography for receptions, night shots and indoor locations.- For couple's boudoir and portrait sessions I use film cameras and flash photography may be required. At this time we do not offer USB sticks for wedding events Our brand was founded with the purpose to reinstate an "old school" approach. Technology moves fast. Things aren't the same as it was even 20 years ago. Think back to the days when floppy disks were still a thing--if you had a photographer that put your images on that! Now that's wack. It'd be lost. You wouldn't be able to view them on your computer today! That is why we order beautiful albums from a third party we know and trust

I do not believe in giving out thousands of photos. Call me a witch, but I value what videography is for. Please hire one if that's what you want. Photographers take thousands of photos during sessions. Most of them consist of "test shots" to get the correct light or shots of you with your eyes closed or mouth wide open ;) With this being said, there's no need to worry. Every session is specially designed to include the perfect amount of your best photos for you to remember EVERYTHING important The most exciting thing about this job is the suspense! What I do is a skillful art (believe it or not I don't just click a button 😎) , and it is not complete until I work all my magic when I'm back in my studio. With film sessions, that would be impossible ha ha

Due to COVID, I have made the difficult decision to book SOLELY Arizona elopements + portraits for the remainder of 2020. I am currently booking nationwide shoots for 2021 until March. Nationwide events will be booked no later than 2 months in advance until further notice. Travel fees are included unless otherwise stated in your contract.
